This position will be located onsite at our Austin, TX office.
Overview
LegalZoom wants employees who are passionate about delivering world-class experiences and products to our customers! The Resignation Specialist is responsible for managing and executing Registered Agent business entity resignation activities for LegalZoom. This role handles daily business entity resignation queues, researches and maintains Registered Agent subscription accounts, verifies validity of Registered Agent appointments, and ensures state and federal compliance across all jurisdictions. The agent will be responsible for flawless operational execution and supporting the LegalZoom Registered Agent team’s business goals.
You will
- Resolve daily resignation queues and requests for LegalZoom’s Registered Agent Business
- Research and maintain accounts for active Registered Agent subscription customers
- Audit and communicate with the Secretary of State for all jurisdictions for entity compliance
- Verify client submissions for resignations
- Coordinate with the Customer Care team to track and communicate pertinent information regarding resignations
- Manage and assist with Registered Agent Change of Address projects, including resignations for entities unable to move to a new address
- Verify and audit current/past resignations submitted to the state to ensure compliance
- Maintain high productivity and accuracy standards while working with time-sensitive materials.
- Follow established protocols to protect confidential and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with teammates, including the leadership team to drive continuous process improvement in support of operational goals.
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient processing/accepting/work environment by adhering to office and compliance policies.
You have
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-year of experience in a mailroom or light industrial environment.
- A positive attitude.
- Eagerness to work in a fast paced environment.
The national range for this role is ($33,800 - $54,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
